Raising Youth offers a talking therapy service where you can access Counselling, Art Therapy & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). These are affective and confidential therapies delivered by fully trained and accredited practitioners.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a therapy to support you to explore and identify how you think about both yourself and your life. This is helpful for dealing with overwhelming problems. We will usually prescribe between 5-10 sessions, however some clients may need more or less.

CBT is well known to support individuals struggling with; Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Panic Attacks, Phobias, Other MH Difficulties

Counselling

Counselling is used as a way to confidently talk to a trained professional to receive help to manage difficulties in your life.

We will normally accept referrals for counselling if you;
Need support with an addiction,
Are struggling with a long-term condition
Are struggling with depression or similar MH difficulties

Art Therapy

Art Therapy used art and creative methods to help clients explore and and express their feelings in a more unique and informal way opposed to Counselling and CBT.

Those that require art therapy may have; mental health difficulties, high stress/low esteem, special educational needs, difficulty with opening up and expressing feelings.

Support Groups

Attending a group talking therapy is also a great way of working on exploring your mental health and identifying steps to improve.

We run a range of support groups for those who have; Developmental & mental health difficulties, chronic illness's physical disabilities
